Website terms of use
The terms on which you may use this website. These are separate from your terms of supply, which are published as documents.
Two different things called "terms"
Terms of supply govern the electricity, water and wastewater services we provide to your property. They are contractual and are published in full:
- Terms & conditions of service: Electricity (PDF, amended August 2026)
- Terms & conditions of service: Water (PDF, amended August 2026)
- Terms & conditions of service: Wastewater (PDF, amended July 2022)
Accounts are now rendered monthly, not quarterly as these documents say (monthly billing notice). Payment is still due within 28 days of the date shown on each account. Current rates are in our tariffs, including the electricity tariff from 1 September 2026.
Terms of use (this page) govern your use of this website only. Nothing here changes your terms of supply.
Using this site
You may use this website to obtain information about our services, report faults, submit meter readings and download published documents. You may reproduce our published documents for personal or organisational use provided you do not alter them and you attribute them to us.
You must not attempt to disrupt the site, submit false fault reports, or use automated means to submit forms.
Accuracy of information
We take care to keep this site accurate, and we say when we cannot vouch for something. In particular:
- Supply status is updated by the control room and carries a visible timestamp. If the data is more than 12 hours old, the page says so. It is a best available picture, not a guarantee: an absence of a listed fault does not mean your supply is unaffected. If your supply is off, please report it.
- Planned work windows are indicative. Work may finish early, overrun or be postponed for operational or weather reasons.
- Tariffs shown here reflect the schedule approved by the St Helena Utilities Regulatory Authority. Where the published schedule and this website differ, the published schedule prevails.
Fault reports are not an emergency service
Online fault reports are monitored during working hours and acknowledged within one working day. They are not monitored continuously.
If there is a risk to life, call 999. For urgent faults call 22255 in working hours or 22602 out of hours. Do not rely on a web form in an emergency.

We aim to keep this site available at all times, particularly during incidents, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Alternative contact routes (telephone and local radio) remain available if the site is unreachable.
