Work for Connect
We employ and train over 70 people on island, across generation, water, wastewater, engineering and corporate services.
Running three utilities for a whole island with a workforce of this size means people here do broader jobs than they would in a larger utility. That is the main attraction, and the main demand.
Current vacancies
- Advert for EOI (Out of Hours - Water & Wastewater), closing 18 November 2026
- Human Resources Officer, closing 18 November 2026
How to apply
Each advert states the closing date and how to apply. Applications are made on the standard form, which you can download from the documents library or collect from the main office.
If you want to talk about a role before applying, call 22255 and ask for Human Resources.
Training and development
Several of our technical roles are filled by people who joined without the relevant qualification and trained into it. Apprenticeships and sponsored training are part of how we build capability on island rather than importing it, and that is a deliberate strategic objective rather than a recruitment slogan; it is set out in our strategic plan.
Equal opportunities
We recruit on merit. If you need an adjustment to take part in the recruitment process, tell us when you apply and we will make it.
